Prior to going independent in 2013, Shane spent over eight years in the Tokyo office of Wieden+Kennedy, gaining exposure to all types of creative projects and working situations, from large-scale global advertising campaigns, to the smallest of independent, self-initiated jobs. He was a core member of the creative team behind W+K Tokyo Lab, the pioneering experimental audiovisual record label launched by W+K Tokyo in 2003. The DIY approach and sensitivity toward music and visuals engendered there continues to inform his working methods and choice of projects. His process is both highly intuitive and methodical, informed by a generalist stance toward creative work, and the diverse cultural experiences of east meets west.
Shane holds a BFA from Art Center College of Design and is bilingual in English and Japanese.
